2007 Manawatu Junior Swimmer Of The Year

The 2006-2007 swimming season has been a very successful season for Jenna. The Winter Short Course season proved a great hunting ground culminating in a New Zealand Age Group record for the girls 13yr 100m Butterfly at the New Zealand Spring Meet in September 2006.
The 2007 Manawatu Age Groups provided Jenna with a chance to show her dominance not with just her own age group within the Manawatu but she also showed her class by beating out many talented swimmers in older Age Groups.
Jenna’s achievements to date include 1 NZ Age Group Record, 7 Manawatu Age Group Records 13 Manawatu Age Group Titles and with her first appearance at the 2007 New Zealand Age Groups Jenna capped off a very successful season with 3 gold medals, and 2 silver medals.
Jenna is an extremely focused and committed swimmer. Her swims show courage, determination and display all the attributes of a swimmer of whom a great future may be expected. She approaches set backs with a renewed vigor and sets a high standard for herself which will ensure a successful future.
