Hamish McGirr gained his first Manawatu Age group title for the 10 year old SC 50m Butterfly at the Mitch Taite Memorial Meet with a time of 00:34.00 flat beating the old record of 00:34.34 set by Jason Lardner from Dolphins a fews years back in 2003.
