Paul Kent Memorial 2007

Kiwi have been fairly busy over the past month with many swimmers busily attending meets all over the north island.

We had a team of 27 swimmers head down to Levin to compete at the Paul Kent Memorial, The Kiwi swimmers had a great time with many of our new swimmers stepping up a notch.

Meet highlights

  • Just over 70% of Kiwi swimmers gained a personal best time (Pb)
  • Cameron Blair took off 12.84 secs off his 200 Back
  • Jessica Love took off 21.48 sec off her 200 IM
  • Eve Athersuch and Cameron Gibbons both Pb all of their events
  • Kiwi swimmers were among the top 5 places 85 times
  • The highlight of the meet would have to be winning the Paul Kent Memorial Trophy, A fantastic trophy that we are more than happy to accept.
Note
Pb times are compared with times from the last time swimmers swum that course (SC - SC)

It was another awesome swim by the Kiwi kids, and great to see so many kiwi swimmers out there supporting local meets.
