Jeff Lurvey - New Coach

Welcome to the latest team member of the Nicholls Swimming Academy, new Coach Jeff Lurvey. Jeff was raised in Boston USA and comes to us from a town called Chelsmford.

For some members Jeff might be a familier face as he has been to the "The land of the long white cloud" before.

Jeff has spent some time here at Canterbury University studying sculpture before moving up to the North Island where his passion for swimming saw him coaching in Waipukerau for the CHB Swimming club before heading back to the USA in 2006.

The Nicholls Swimming Academy have employed Jeff as a full time coach where he will help mainly with coaching the squads.

The 22nd Jan through to 29th Jan 2008 wil see Jeff as captain on deck while both Andrew & Trevor are away with Jenna, Angus, Evon & the NZ Age Group development teams for the inaugural NZ Tri-Series competition.
