Manawatu Striders Half Marathon

A huge thank you to all the club members who got up on Sunday morning to stand on street corners and marshall all of the crazy's out jogging & walking for the Manawatu Striders 25th Half Marathon.

This was a fairly easy fund raising effort for the club and most members were able to get away at a reasonable time, unfortunately for those of us that drew the short straw and had to wait for the last person back; the club salutes your dedication.

The event was extremely lucky to have pretty good weather and attracted a huge crowd. It was great to see Kiwi West members out on the run.

Kiwi West should put a team of parents and swimmers in next year - maybe Andrew can work it into training?
